The Queen has fallen
After a long summer break we are back in action. We stepped into the Eternal Palace with many new faces and some old returning players. In typical Invisium fashion we stormed through the first 3 bosses with our melee squadron. Ashvane however did not like this and force us to bring in the mages and some extra ranged. We returned the week after with a larger group and she ended up falling over. So did Orgozoa and the Queens Court. With 6 bosses under our belt we went over to try our luck at Za’qul. We quickly found out that we had quite some tentacle lovers in our group. Some others were to scared of the fear realm. After mustering some courage that was settled too and we proceeding to score a kill by sacrificing our warlock to a tentacle.
Queen Azshara … oh queen, is there a way to fit more mechanics into a boos fight? Our first night was pretty much sorting out the trivial stuff from the mechanics that truly mattered. Enter the next reset, we one-shot every boss, Ashvane died twice as fast and we could already picture that tasty fish-feast waiting at the end of the raid. Za’qul (and blizzard) however thought nope and thought over-buffing Za’quls melee attacks would make things more fun, our tanks did not approve. He ended up dying anyway, but sadly not without taking away time we would have liked to have for the fish queen. Enter a relaxing Sunday afternoon, we sacrificed our warlock again and she feel over 30 minutes into the raid. It only took our death knight and monk go off-spec tanking and one hero demon hunter. Proof in the kill video. PS: If that disc-priest would have shielded everyone at the end …
Good job everyone, see you in mythic!
